FACING MS - LIVING IN A WORLD OF UNCERTAINTY is a photography project depicting individuals with Multiple Sclerosis who are dealing with the disease in their own unique ways, and on their own terms. This condition attacks the central nervous system resulting in sudden loss of motor functions, vision, and cognitive ability. People with MS never know from one day to the next what they can take for granted. Impermanence is the one certainty.
These portraits show six individuals as they discuss their personal experience of living with MS and how they navigate the transitions that accompany this disease.
